First Few Photos

I decided to see emphasize my point by contrasting people who seemed to not be so financially stable but who were doing their own "thing" with people wearing suits.

 This guy made my day "hey man do you wanna take my picture? just $2"best investment ever.

this one IS going in the final series, somehow the old guy hurrying over the road in the background just makes it better.

I added this guy because he kinda just looks like the guy that is the opposite of what I'm trying to explore; expensive yet standard haircut, nice suit, cigarette and a scowl to top it all off. Way to perfect.

Photography Ideas

I want my series to focus around the idea of "stepping out of the rat race". In the Documentary "objectified" one designer says that design is sometimes seen as a wing of marketing, because of many modern objects being designed to "look like the new now, and make the old now look like then". The main reason for this is money it seems and so my photography series will look at people who have chosen to go down a  road that isn't necessarily the most profitable one. These people will be doing what they want, I will try to capture the idea of non-conformity in the series but also make them friendly aswell.
